Introducing, the Guild Timepieces FTD Titanium Pilot
Named after the P38 Lighting Fighter plane of WWII, both feared and respected by the Germans who dubbed it the "Fork Tailed Devil" - hence our modern timepiece in honor of the infamous aircraft/the role it played in the war of our greatest generation, the FTD.
Ready and capable for both air and ground operations with it’s highly legible and minimalistic pilot styled dial, fully lumed indices and handset, and ground use rated water resistance at 200m; The FTD comes in ready for whatever use case you have to throw at it.
The watch is extremely lightweight (coming in at 45 grams without strap, 58 grams on TDS two piece ultralight strap) and durable with its Titanium case. Combine such with its streamlined dimensions at a 39mm case diameter and 12mm thickness, it offers a wearing experience ideal for the vast majority of end users.
Colorways specifically nod to the classic color hues of the P38 Lighting of ODG with Yellow contrasting highlights. Featuring a mix of white and yellow patinaed C3 lumed painted indices, polished yellow patinaed C3 lumed hour and minute hands, solid white second hand, and a Olive Drab green dial with white and yellow subtext.
Each watch is hand assembled in house by Guild Timepieces in the USA, pressure tested in house to ensure water resistance, and each movement regulated in house to put forth the highest quality product in compliance with all specifications.
The dial displays our logo at 12 o-clock along with it's namesake and ATM rating in subtext at 6 O'Clock. Every caseback is engraved with an individual manufactured order serialization
Included with each timepiece is a two piece brown leather strap, choice of a Teardown Systems Ultralight Strap in Two Piece Desert Frogskin, Two Piece Jungle Frogskin, or One Piece Ranger Green (all featuring brushed stainless hardware), and a Guild Timepieces X Teardown Systems Watch Caddy Ranger Green and Coyote exclusive colorway case
