Introducing, the Guild Timepieces Mark V - Bronze Heritage Diver
The Mark V is our pursuit of bringing forth a quality bronze case dive watch inspired by the heritage of the US Navy’s history in diving. The Mark V is designed as a fully capable modern dive watch in a package that is both inspired by some of the greatest tool watches ever known and executed in a manner that stands out from the typical homage. The intent behind the Mark V was to put forth a timepiece that could serve as both a modern diver and tool watch along with being an attainable alternative material, in this case bronze, timepiece.
The Mark V’s inspiration stems from the early era of US Navy diving. The Mark V diving helmet, introduced by the United States Navy in the early 1900s. The helmet was used extensively through both World Wars and remained in service for decades. It was an icon of it's time and visually unmistakable today. Combining this with the infamy of the use of Rolex and Tudor Subs in the US Navy’s diving history, we developed the timepiece we have today. The Guild Timepieces Mark V.
Featuring a bronze case, elapsed timing 120 click bezel, matte black C3 lumed dial, C3 lumed white snowflake handset and indices for ideal and precise legibility, and 200M of water resistance. The bronze case gives off a gold like tone new out the box and will patina overtime to a darker more worn bronze and potentially develop oxidization on the case.
Engraved on the case back of the Mark V is it's point of inspiration, a US NAVY Mark V dive helmet.
The Mark V serves as a capable modern alternative material dive watch for the professional, and a noteworthy piece nodding towards heritage in an alternative material for the enthusiast.
Each watch is hand assembled in house by Guild Timepieces in the USA, pressure tested in house to ensure water resistance, and each movement regulated in house to put forth the highest quality product in compliance with all specifications.
The dial displays our logo at 12 o-clock along with it's namesake and ATM rating in white at 6 O'Clock. Every caseback is engraved with an individual manufactured order serialization
