Introducing, the Guild Timepieces Mekong
Named for the infamous Vietnam river in which it's inspiration was worn and cemented in history
This watch envelopes our roots & identity as a homage to arguably one of the greatest tool watches of all time, the Seiko 6105 “Captain Willard”
The Mekong takes the heritage of the 6105 Willard and modernizes it with features including sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, and a screw down crown
Each piece is regulated via timegrapher and
pressure tested to ensure compliance with specifications
The dial displays our original logo at 12 o-clock. Every caseback is engraved with an individual manufactured order serialization
Included with each timepiece is a two piece rubber strap, a Teardown Systems Ultralight Strap (in choice of color), and a brown leather case
Ultimately, the goal of this project was to bring all this at a level of attainable affordability for the common man
