Mekong Description:
Named for the infamous Vietnam river in which it's inspiration was worn and cemented in history
This watch envelopes our roots & identity as a homage to arguably one of the greatest tool watches of all time, the Seiko 6105 “Captain Willard”
The Mekong takes the heritage of the 6105 Willard and modernizes it with features including sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, and a screw down crown
Each watch is hand assembled in house by Guild Timepieces in the USA, pressure tested in house to ensure water resistance, and each movement regulated in house to put forth the highest quality product in compliance with all specifications.
The dial displays the Watchmens Guild logo at 9 o-clock. Every caseback is engraved with the Watchmens Guild logo and an individual manufactured order serialization
Included with each timepiece is a two piece rubber strap, a Teardown Systems Ultralight Strap (in choice of color), and a Guild Timepieces X Teardown Systems Watch Caddy Ranger Green and Coyote exclusive colorway case
Ultimately, the goal of this project was to bring all this at a level of attainable affordability for the common man
